Chinese New Year

Class 1 have had a fantastic time celebrating Chinese New Year. The Children Learned about Chinese traditions and why this year it was called the year of the 'Rat'. The children reinacted the story of The Great Race within our continuous provision. They each were a character and acted out how that animal had crossed the river in the story. We have made lots of craft activities linked to our theme and we all enjoyed tasting chinese food and danced to chinese music using scarfs.
