Super Scientists!

Date: 11th Mar 2020 @ 5:22pm

We had a brilliant day in Class 1 as super scientists! The first experiment was to make a hole in a block of ice without drilling it. We tried pouring water on it with a jug but the water spread all over the block. One of the children suggested we use a pipette to focus the water in one place, which worked perfectly! All of the children then had a go at making holes in their own ice blocks and cubes. Later in the day, we had a go at another experiment which was to use Skittles to make a colourful rainbow. The children were amazed to see the rainbow appear as we added water! At the end of the day, we had an extra yummy treat that one of our super scientists had made at home - a cosmic cake!
