I am delighted to welcome you to Crawford, a small rural village school with a thriving community ethos. We pride ourselves on the family atmosphere that permeates all aspects of school life, providing children with the genuine care and nurture that they need to thrive, from their early years all the way through to year 6. We strive to ensure that all children feel happy, safe, secure and truly valued as individuals in our school family.
Our vibrant and exciting curriculum embraces the beautiful rural surroundings in which we are situated, recognising local history, heritage, geography, business links and, most importantly, the aspirations of all our children. Our aim is to develop every child’s individual talent whether it be academic, artistic or sporting. High quality, personalised learning opportunities enable our children to thrive, providing them with the necessary experiences and skills to achieve their full potential as independent learners in the 21st Century.
Children are at the heart of the school. Staff and governors work effectively with parents to ensure the holistic development of each child, providing a well-balanced education with excellent pastoral care. Our shared school values underpin the ethos of the school and represent the high standards of behaviour and learning which we encourage both inside and out of school. These values encourage all members of the school community, children and adults alike, to be responsible, and successful members of society.
Debra Eaton, Headteacher
