Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Class 1 Year: 2019 - 2020

Today for our first forest school session of the school year the children made a camp fire 🔥. They showed good listening and attention when Miss Davies asked if anyone could remember our forest school rules. 

All the children went on a bug hunt and showed care and concern for living things by handling them carefully. They thought of a name for the creatures they found 🐜 🕷

During our our afternoon session we toasted marshmallows on the campfire and made them into smores. We made our own paintbrush and mud paint to make marks on paper. We finished the day playing traditional games and listened to a story 📕
