Humpty Dumpty

This half term we will be focusing on nursery rhymes. This week we are concentrating on Humpty Dumpty. When the children came in to school this morning, there was a crime scene! Humpty Dumpty had had an accident. The children came up with lots of weird and wonderful ways of how Humpty Dumpty had fallen...

”Mrs Eaton pushed him!”

”He tripped and slipped on a banana.”

”The Gruffalo scared him so much that his shell cracked!”

We also looked at an egg and where an egg comes from.  We labelled the different parts of an egg and then cooked them in different ways -  the children enjoyed tasting fried eggs, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs.
