Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Class 1 Year: 2019 - 2020

This term class one have been learning how recycling can save our planet. Our role play area had been transformed into a recycling centre. We learned how to separate all the rubbish into the correct bins and learned what happens to it when it is taken to the recycling centre. The children enjoyed listening to the stories ‘George Saves The World By Lunch Time and ‘Michael Recycle’. To end our mini topic we recycled nearly all the rubbish and created some fantastic items to take home.
