Class 2 National Poetry Day

Class: Class 2 Year: 2023 - 2024

To start National Poetry Day, Years 1 & 2 went outside to immerse our senses in the environment. We then listened to the poem, Nature Trail, while thinking about how the animals in the poem used the garden as their safe place. The theme for the day is “Refuge” which we used to then create our own class poem. In the afternoon, Year 3 then used different AI to create their own versions of poems based around refuge and safe places.
