Investigating materials

Today in Science we used our investigative skills to become super scientists.

We discussed as a class how the name of an object is often different from the material from which it is made and talked about the various materials that we could recall.

We then went on a hunt around the playground to find items made from a list of common materials.  The children used their recording skills to identify and match the materials to group the objects accordingly.
