School Council

Welcome to Our School Council

Our School Council is made up of children from Years 3–6 who represent the views and ideas of pupils across our school. Council members are democratically elected by their classmates each autumn term and are then given specific roles and responsibilities to help them make a positive difference to school life.

We meet every fortnight to share ideas, plan charity events, organise fundraising activities and discuss ways to make our school an even better place for everyone.

Our School Council has already made a real difference! Their achievements include successfully changing our school policy so that children can wear their PE kit throughout the school day on PE days, making these days simpler and more convenient for everyone. Their fundraising efforts have also helped to buy a hen house for our Crawford hens and a soldier silhouette for our Remembrance Day display.

Every voice matters! We welcome ideas and suggestions from all pupils. If you have an idea that could improve our school or support our community, please speak to any member of the School Council. We would love to hear from you!
