National Artist Day October 2020

For National Artist Day this year, Each class created a piece of art inspired by an inspirational black artist. 
We all researched an artist named Kehinde Wiley. Kehinde Wiley is a contemporary African-American painter best known for his distinctive portraits. He usually paints black men and women, rendered in a photographic style against a densely patterned backgrounds. 
I think our children have done an amazing job  creating their pieces and celebrating Black History Month.
