Writing competion

Today the children took part in a writing competition. We read a lovely story called 'A Place for Plastic'. The story showed pictures of the sea bed and the beaches covered in our rubbish. The children were shocked!

We talked about recycling and what they do at home and in school to help to keep our planet healthy.

We painted the world using our hands as we talked about how it is so important to look after our world.

The children then wrote a letter Planet Earth, telling it what they are going to do to look after it.
