The School Games Mark is a government-led award scheme launched in 2012, fascilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition and into the community, and we are so delighted to have been recognised for our success.

 

We have had so much sporting success this year; entering many varied competitions, leading our own intra competitions, hosting sporting-themed weeks and providing daily sports leaders activities at lunch time.

 

We are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of sport in and out of school. You can see our amazing sports ambassadors for 25/26 in the picture.

 

As part of the application, we were asked to fulfill criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded.

 

We look forward to continuing to promote sporting excellence and applying again in 2027/2028.
