Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Class 1 Year: 2020 - 2021

Class one have enjoyed a variety of different activities related to Autumn. The children created a leaf bowl out of clay with leaves they’d collected from home. They explored mixing colours and commented on the colours they’d made. During our harvest celebrations we cut our own vegetables  and made a delicious soup which we all enjoyed at the end of the day. We loved exploring our school grounds whilst looking for signs of autumn. The children collected lots of Autumn treasures whilst spending time with their family over the weekend. They loved sharing their treasures with the class and discussed the similarities and differences between them.
