KS2 Cross Country

Lesson: Physical education

What an amazing time we had at the Cross Country competition today. 15 of our incredible runners from Year 3 to Year 6 took part in the competition and although it is a difficult event, the determination and perseverance shown by all of our runners was extremely pleasing to see. I was especially pleased with the support all our children showed each other before, during and after the race. It was made even more special by the amount of support we had from our parents and grandparents- thank you all for coming to support us on a drizzly afternoon. 
We did have some success, winning the Year 3 boys race, the Year 4 girls race and the Year 5 girls race. We also came 3rd in the Year 4 boys race. 
I am so proud of all of our pupils and I hope they’re all equally as proud of themselves!
